West One performs one of the slickest, non-stop, multi-era tributes to be heard in any party band. These include a seventies tribute (Earth Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang, Jackson Five etc.), and eighties tribute (Hughie Lewis and the News, Weathergirls, Bangles), Motown/Soul (Four Tops, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin), Abba (all the favourites) and Latin fever (Ricky Martin) - just to name a few. All the music is played one hundred per cent live (real musicians - no backing tracks).
The bands energy and enthusiasm is infectious - dynamic male and female vocalists, who always react to the vibe of the crowd ensure that the sets always look and sound spot-on. Rest assured after all the time spent organising your event, West One never fails to add an extra magical touch.
The show is equally at home in large corporate functions, outdoor music festivals and private parties alike. In addition to the non-stop dancing, West One can also provide a lower-key tribute to some of the past and present swing vocalists - Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Junior, Tony Bennett, and more currently, Michael Buble and Jamie Cullen.
West One always carries great back up in the way of professional sound and lighting engineers. A top-line PA is brought to every gig regardless of size, to produce CD quality sound. In between sets CDs can be played or a DJ can be added, for the complete entertainment package. All equipment is 'PAT' safety tested and West One also holds public liability insurance to give both client and venue complete peace of mind. A typical performance is for 2 x 60 minute sets.
