Profile
To have such talent, enthusiasm,
looks and artistry all in one place, will certainly impress you and your
guests when you book Time After Time. From start to finish they will be
playing all the popular hits from the 60s through to the current day and
will keep your dance floor full, jumping and writhing with dancers the
whole time. Just read on.
The Time After Time Show: 1st Set;
70's disco train, the stage is dressed to look like a 70's nightclub with
a bar in one corner and a DJ booth in the other, the whole stage area
is full of 70's memorabilia including, genuine spinning mirror balls,
crushed velvet and ultra violet lighting. About 30 mins before the show
starts; two of the band are on the stage. It is DJ 'Brutus Gold' and barman
'Stevie Diamond' (in full authentic 70's costumes) playing from the DJ
booth, songs, film theme tunes and music from adverts of the 70's. With
humorous dialogue going on between 'Brutus' and 'Stevie', there's a ready-made,
party atmosphere as people are arriving. After about 30 mins the girls
casually come on (again in full authentic 70's outfits and accessories)
and join in with the fun on stage. As soon as the band can see people
are ready, another track comes on and the girls start dancing to it, along
with 'Brutus and 'Stevie', at this point everyone still thinks tracks
are being played, until the end of the intro when everyone comes to the
front of the stage and perform the song live, which usually takes everyone
by surprise. The band perform all the big songs from the era with all
live vocals and live performances on their instruments. This is a really
fun show and would definitely get the evening off to a great start.
2nd Set; After the interval the stage is reset, outfits changed to white
jeans, no socks, denim jackets and pink lipstick (for the girls!). They
change instruments to handheld electronic keyboards and head microphones
and perform a set dedicated to the 80's. This is done again in full authentic
outfits, with realistic choreography and vocal styles. This is another
good set, with lots of party music like; Pointer Sisters' 'So Excited';
Katrina & The Waves' 'Walking On Sunshine' and not forgetting plenty
of 'Wham'. No one will be sitting down during this part of the show!
Alternative 2nd Set; The stage is dark and the intro of a really well
known song starts playing, the audience wait in anticipation to see what's
happening on stage and as the intro finishes, the light come up and there
in front of them, all in white: 'Abba' reborn. This is a really fabulous
set and very authentic in both looks and sound. This brings the house
down, no matter what type of event or age group is being played to.
3rd Set; In this set the band dress trendy and play 90's music and current
chart songs like; Anastacia's 'Outta Love' and S.Club 7's 'Don't Stop
Moving' but also a mixture of songs from all over, so there's something
for everyone. If you don't have time or space for the 'Time After Time'
show, which is available as a 4 - 7 piece band, many of the hits will
still be played and your guests are certain to enjoy still, a great band
which will be talked about for a long time after your occasion.
The band are completely self-contained with a top of the range PA, lights
and video screens. A typical performance is for 3 x 45 minute sets including
a DJ service.
Line up & Options:

Instrumentation can include percussion, keyboards, backing tracks. Guitar,
male and female vocals are standard with every performance.
5 piece: Additional drums

What we say:
Highly interactive band covering all the music from the last 40 years.
Attractive performers, great PA, good attention to detail and 100% positive
feedback from all of our clients.
"Andrew, Kelly and the whole
band were just simply a joy. They were friendly, professional but most importantly
went down an absolute storm and we could not have been more delighted with
them and their performances. The highlight for us both was when Kelly and
the band performed Still in Love With You which we all managed to keep a
complete secret from Craig. That is the first time in 13 years I have been
able to surprise him with anything! We were somewhat speechless when asked
for feedback on the night - we were that impressed! Thank you.
Very happy
with the professional and polite service we have received. We just wished
we had booked our comedian through you as the booking did not run smoothly
and it makes you realise how professional 1311 Events are! Many thanks
indeed."
Dan Hanson
"Time after Time were FANTASTIC and really helped our wedding go
with a swing. We can't recommend them highly enough. They performed our
first song - which wasn't in their ususal repertoire - perfectly and really
entered into the slightly cheesy spirit of the day. Their performances
and costumes were briliant and everyone loved them - young and old. The
abba tribute set was an absolute highlight. They seemed to be having as
much fun as the audience did! In between playing they Dj'd so it kept
everyone on their feet, and they then played on for an hour later than
we had agreed which was really appreciated and went FAR beyond the call
of duty. They had arrived early and were very friendly but unobtrusive
throughout the day. They set up very efficiently and cleared away very
well, and coped marvellously with the fact they had to operate in quite
limited space. They are a top class act that we would have no hesitation
in booking again or recommending for a great party. 10/10. Thanks guys
xx . Also, many thanks to 1311 for helping sort out Time after Time for
us. They were great."
Jayne Secker
"I just wanted to say what a great night we had on Saturday and the
band were fantastic. Very professional, excellent entertaining performance,
everyone said how great they were. It really did make for a great party.
I would definitely book them again. Thank you 1311 Events.net for your
help with everything."
Viv Tasker - wedding
"The day was brilliant and all of the artists booked were superb
so many people commented on how good they all were. Our thanks to them
all for making our day so special."
Zoe Wiltshire, wedding client
"The band proved to be everything we had hoped for and more. They
were truly excellent. Everyone at our wedding commented on how good they
were. It was a shame for them that the weather was so good and a lot of
people remained outside, but they were appreciated by all none the less.
Our first song was very memorable, and it sounded better than the real
version. We can't thank them enough.... more bookings will be coming their
way!"
Kerri Housman
"Absolutely fantastic and once again everyone loved them, and they
kept the dancefloor full for the whole evening, the costumes really enhanced
the performance. They were perfect and made our evening reception, due
to the band many of guests said it was the best wedding that they had
been to."
Amanda Poland
