| We’re delighted to introduce
you to the original party man - an American solo vocalist and entertainer
from Brooklyn, New York. Since becoming permanently resident in the UK, Steve has been setting venues on fire with an eclectic mix of Motown, Soul, R&B, Funk, and 70's/80's classic dance music. The really amazing thing about a good time, and having one, is that it's often highly contagious. Steve enjoys what he does, and is still having a great time entertaining 1000's of people every year. With an incredible pedigree, Steve has enjoyed touring / performing with artists such as Heatwave, The Real Thing, Rose Royce, Boney M, The Three Degrees, George Mcrae, KC and the Sunshine Band, Sister Sledge, Natalie Cole, Teddy Pendergrast, the Isley brothers, Leee John and Imagination, Dr Hook, and the late great Mr Edwinn Starr, among many others. In addition to his work as a solo artist, Steve is also one of the lead singers of 70's/80's chart group Odyssey. You may recall some of their top 10 hits; Native New Yorker, Use It Up and Wear It Out, Inside Out, Looking for A Way Out, Going Back To My Roots, and the rare groove Don't Tell Me Tell Her. The group continues to do tours throughout the UK, though Steve likes to stay on top of his game by doing his own thing around the country and will be delighted to perform for your forthcoming event. Whether you're after a classic soul singer, sensational Tamla Motown or a superb night of 70s - 90s dance and RnB hits, Soul Cool is the perfect choice. Early booking is highly recommended A typical performance is for 1 x 60 or 2 x 45 minute sets. Full PA and lighting is also provided. |

| "I knew you were the business,
soon as you walked in..." J Henworth Hampshire "You really seemed to enjoy yourself up there performing, and that made us want to get up and have a boogie. We all had a really good night. Thank you!" Denise Southwick Sussex "I'm not one for dancin' myself, so it was a pleasure to watch you entertain with your fancy footwork as well as your singing and playing talents. Where do you get all that energy?" Gareth Southend "Immediately, I was impressed with both the lead and the backing vocal performances- all by the man himself. His singing style is definitely American dance/soul as you can hear from the mellow approach, choice of harmonies and control of vibrato." J Harris – Sound on Sound Magazine "You handled that audience really well ... All those different groups of people and celebrations in one place: Hen nights, birthdays, plus the locals! Got 'em all up dancin'. Well done. I'll be havin' ya' back for sure." Gavin J - Manager Best Western, Ormskirk, Lancashire "Thank you so much, you made my husbands 50th birthday so special. You were easy to book, and reasonable at twice the price! My friends are still talking about it. So good to dance to a singer who has such a nice selection of music.” Mrs L Taylor, Gosport, Hampshire "You're always a safe bet. Thanks for the friendly, reliable service and for always getting the punters thirsty". Ian Marshall - The Wilton Salisbury, Wiltshire |
