performed by the focal point of Mr Swing, which is singer Phil Chapman,
who hails from Leeds and has had a love of big band music all his life.
This affection becomes very apparent in his performances. From quick-steps
- for the more energetic members of the audience - to ballads for those
who fancy a 'smooch', plus all the dances in between. Mr Swing encourages
everybody, of all ages to get up and have a dance. Mr Swing’s dance orchestra has entertained many venues including Buckingham Palace and has always received favourable comments, be it a dinner/dance, company conference, wedding or a society ball, the band is continually enjoyed by audiences of all ages. The band always take great pride in their professionalism and always enjoy the performance they give. This excellent dance orchestra is flexible and would be happy to fit in with your arrangements for an evenings entertainment. With a typical 2 or 3 sets totalling 120 minutes, they offer background music to keep your function flowing between live sets, or alternatively can organise a disco for you, to ensure the dancing continues throughout the evening. The band provide their own PA and lighting. The band is only available as a 13 piece orchestra which features: Piano, bass, drums, 5 x saxophone, 2 x trumpet, 2 x trombone, male vocals. |
