Luther Vandross and the sounds of soul is a unique and riveting solo tribute show to the worlds greatest soul singers, performed by one finest entertainers in the UK. From emotional ballads such ‘Dance with my father’ and ‘ A house is not a home’ to the triumphant and foot stomping ‘Aint no Stopping us now’ the hits keep coming.
With his velvety smooth voice and dynamic range this energetic entertainer fuses lyric to emotion with riveting sensitivity. With his soothing tone, phrasing and passionate delivery, every song becomes a golden memory. Fil’s stage presence reaches out and engages everyone in the audience.
Having recently relocated from New York where he has been a member of the Drifters featuring Ray Lewis, toured with Hot Chocolate and worked with some of Europe’s top producers. This is a new show for the UK direct from New York and an experience not to be missed.
Performances can range from 30 minutes to nearly 2 hours of superb music. A typical performance is for 1 x 60 or 2 x 40 minute sets and an optional DJ service can also be provided. Full PA and lighting is also provided.
