Jessica, a.k.a Kate (vocals) has a fantastic ability to both entertain and sing. She had been a firm favourite within Nottingham’s open mic and Jam fraternity which spurred her on to forming her own combi’s. The first of these was with Guitarist, Matt Williams. Together they played an eclectic mix of songs and soon found themselves regularly playing the best venues in and around the Nottingham live music scene, with Shaw’s, The Golden Fleece and the Old Bell being just a selection. Most recently Kate played with, the band Big Stuff, which are a Motown
based outfit playing wedding and corporate gigs and has also appeared
with Mood Indigo as a “shy tot” (backing vocals) at various
festivals over the past Summer season. Kate’s influences are as
varied as her ability, ranging from Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Doris
Day to Florence Welch and Beyonce Knowles. Paul also owns the nationally recognised, MLC-Academy in Nottingham where
some ten teachers and over 300 students show testament to Paul’s
hard work and commitment. |
