In 2002 she released her first EP, which received a great response from regional press and radio in the UK and was play listed on radio both in the UK and on national radio in Iceland, where she went in December to play and record more material. Influenced by many – favourites include, The Police, Beth Hart, Elliot Smith, Roberta Flack, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Suzanne Vega, The Sundays, The Rolling Stones, Bjork, JellyFish to name a few.
Janie is also growing an increasing reputation in her own right as a solo jazz vocalist and is available with professionally recorded backing tracks to perform classic jazz standards in her own distinctive style. A delightful and rich voice offers you and your guests the opportunity to relax in the very capable hands of an outstanding talent. An opportunity that really shouldn't be missed!
