| The players have been together since
1995 and are all exceptionally qualified in their field. Between them they
have won the Young Musician of the Year back in 1980, studied at the Royal
College of Music and performed regularly with London show orchestras. 1st Trumpet - Elaine studied trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music. In 1980 she was the Brass Champion of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, which subsequently led to various engagements throughout Europe and Britain. Elaine currently teaches trumpet and piano for the Kent Music School French Horn - Tracey is the newest member of the quintet joining us in 1998. She studied french horn at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since graduating she has combined peripatetic teaching with a career as a professional horn player performing regularly with London show orchestras. Tuba - Geoff served for six years with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Band as a Tuba player. He founded Premier Brass in 1995 after leaving the army. Geoff freelances as a tuba player with orchestras and other ensembles in the South East and is currently studying for a music degree.2nd Trumpet - Tim studied trumpet at the Royal College of Music. He now freelances as a trumpet player in South East orchestras and shows, and conducts Gillingham Concert Brass. He was a founding member of Premier Brass and has played with us since 1995.Trombone - David is a freelance trombone player based in Surrey. He performs with local orchestras and pit bands on a regular basis. David is the professional music arranger for the group. The band have recently put together a repertoire which is perfect to accompany sporting events such as the World Cup. Please ask for further details. Recent clients include; The Chelsea Flower Show, The Conservative Party Conference, Connex South East Trains and the ISS Kosovan Childrens Appeal. A typical performance is for 2 hours of live music. Options: High Society now offer 2 more superb options making them one of the most versatile brass bands in the UK. Premiere Fanfares: Seeking to add pomp and ceremony to an auspicious occasion? The addition of 2 or 3 trumpeters to announce dignitaries, special guests or frank key moments throughout an event will make a very memorable occasion. Oompah band: A superb 5 or 6 piece oompah band ideal for fun, singalong or drinking themes. Their entertaining front man will guarantee a night to remember. Lederhosen are a must!!
