The band was originally formed in December 2000 and evolved into this superb six piece line-up in 2002. Gaining stature and popularity through each performance, the artistic chemistry between all the band members is very apparent both on and off stage. This dynamic band have enthralled audiences throughout the UK and are now available for both private and corporate events bringing their own delicious style of entertainment. The Heavy Tones have entertained many major corporate companys:
BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar, Peugeot, NEXT Clothing, Siemens Mobile, NHS, Everton FC, Downe Syndrome Association... the list is endless .
Possibly one of the best dance & funktion bands in the Midlands, The Heavy Tones repertoire includes legendary hits from superb artists such as Luther Vandross, Chic, Sister Sledge, Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bexter and The Brand New Heavies.
A typical performance comprises of 2 x 45 minute sets
Line up & Options:
Keyboards, bass, drums, guitar, female & male vocals and sound engineer. Including 5K Nexo Alpha / Allen&Heath PA, 2K intelligent lighting rig.
