Under the guidance of founder bass guitarist Richard, The Groove Factory has come together to create a fantastic party/function band which incorporates songs from the greats such as Michael Jackson, Sting, Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder and Rolling Stones. The Groove Factory is lead vocally by the enchanting Chantelle, a truly experienced singer from the London scene, who captures almost immediately, a strong rapport with those to whom she is singing. Keyboard player Lyndon, likes to make sure that he is on the top rung of music and now as the official keyboard player of the newly formed Level 42, he draws upon his vast experiences from former years and brings to you great vocals and keyboard artistry.
Alfie, a former Music Director of the TV show ‘TFI Friday’, has his roots in jazz which has helped him become a versatile guitarist and harmonizer. The rhythm section comes you through the skills of Teena and Guy.
Another Level 42 musician is the fabulously tallented Sean on sax. Sean's abilities are widely recognised as one of the best horn players in the UK. His soloing is to die for!
Regarded as one of the best female percussionists in the UK, Teena besides providing backing vocals to this band, has become a much sought after ‘session musician’ for “house bands” like TV’s Popstars and The Brian Connolly Show.
Whilst drummer Guy, has met the demands of orchestra pits on West End shows, such as Mama Mia, The Lion King and Bollywood Nights, his expertise completes the big sound that makes this band so special.
A typical performance comprises of 3 x 40 minute or 2 x 60 minute sets
