Profile

With four albums of original material to her name, Fiona has made countless appearances on Welsh language television and radio. Fiona has travelled the world singing and playing the piano, working in places such as The Middle East, Scandinavia and for five years, she was the resident singer/pianist on board P&O’s legendary liner, the SS Canberra.

The FAB Jazz Quartet formed in September 2003 and they have been the resident jazz quartet at Newbury Manor ever since, entertaining audiences at the monthly ‘Jazz at the Manor’ evenings. They recorded their first album ‘New Life’ in October 2004 and are donating all the proceeds to a Newbury based charity for disabled children. From Ellington to Gershwin, from Cole Porter to Fiona’s own original songs, they are able to augment the sound for larger functions by adding a sax player or guitarist.

A typical performance would be 3 x 45 minute sets for an evening function with pre-recorded music during the breaks where appropriate. PA and lighting is provided for events with up to 200 guests.
