The show features the very best songs from Elvis's career, spanning the early years in Memphis, the movie years, the celebrated '68 Comeback Special and the lavish Las Vegas shows. Peter is a full-time Elvis Tribute Artist living in Oxfordshire. Over the last 15 years he has fronted rock, pop and 9 to 11-piece covers bands around the UK.
In November 2003 as a life-long Elvis fan Peter took part in the charity auction for Children In Need on BBC Radio 2. He won the bid on the ‘Wake Up To Wogan’ show to sing with Elvis's original TCB Band from Las Vegas in January 2004. Before his guest appearance with the band, he featured on BBC Radio Merseyside’s rock ‘n’ roll show, with Frankie Connor and then joined the legendary TCB Band, live on stage at The Liverpool Olympia Theatre where he sang 'In The Ghetto'. He received rapturous applause and a standing ovation from the entire audience of about 1000 people. At the end of January 2004, Peter entered the prestigious European ‘Walk A Golden Mile In My Shoes’ Elvis tribute contest - held in Blackpool - as an amateur and in his first public appearance as a ‘68 Elvis’ reached the finals. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response from audiences in Liverpool and Blackpool, Peter became a professional tribute artist and started his Elvis act.
The performance consists of a mix of songs and costumes from any or all of Elvis's different periods (50's & 60's, '68 Special and Las Vegas) and includes a full repertoire of songs to choose from to ensure that everyone’s favourite songs are included in the show. With up to seven different professional costumes changes, (jumpsuits are made in the USA from Elvis's original design patterns) this is a performance to remember!
A typical performance lasts for up 1 x 75 minute set or 2 x 40 minute sets.
