In the summer the guys completed a sell out tour of France and Italy. The highlight of the year was the gig for an audience of 6,000 at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. Neil has also done over a hundred and fifty solo dates during 2005. The band have recently returned from Ireland having performed with some legends of the music world including Van Morrison, Incognito and James Brown .
Satisfied corporate clients include London Marathon, British Telecom, Barclays Bank where the guys have ripped up corporate events. By the end of the evening nobody can keep still - the whole place is jumpin' !
Neil on piano and vocals features some wicked boogie woogie and big band arrangements including 'Bumble Boogie', 'Shake Rattle ‘n’ Roll', 'Well Alright' (Count Basie) - all in true foot tapping boogie woogie style. There is also a good sprinkling of jump jive and rock and roll including Louis Jordan and Louis Prima numbers such as 'Choo Choo Ch Boogie', 'Jump Jive 'n' Wail' and 'Buona Sera'.
With Jools Holland being one of the most popular artists on the International scene, the Bootleg Jools Holland Band will have the same effect on your guests. Packed dance floors, huge smiles and a night to remember!
A typical performance lasts for up to 2 hours and the band is completely self-contained with their own PA suitable for up to 200 guests on the dance floor.
The band is available with the following line-ups:
4 piece: Piano, bass, drums, saxophone and male vocals **
7 piece: Including additional trumpet, saxophones and female vocals
** This option may not be available for certain key dates during the year
