Profile		  
The Barndancers are a six-piece barn dance band with caller who can make your special night one to remember! Their unique sound is a combination of diverse musical talent perfected over years of performing. Rhythmic drum and bass, melodious fiddle and flute and harmonious piano and guitar seamlessly weave together. Drum and Bass never sounded so good!!

In June 1992 a barn dance was held in Surbiton in aid of the charity "Sequel". The musicians who played that night decided to make a go of doing regular dances. Having acquired the name, the band started to play regularly in 1993. Since then The Barndancers have performed at many functions and events, and have developed their own distinctive style!

It's the ultimate icebreaker! Regardless of age and ability! From English reels to Irish Jigs, from Highland Flings to American Squares, they will have your party in full swing. Listen as their experienced caller guides your every move before the band strikes up a rhythmic foot stomping melody.

A typical performance is for up to 2 hours of live music (3 x 40 or 2 x 60 minute sets) and CD's are played during the breaks. The band are completely self-contained with their own PA.
